Production of the mgb began in october 1962 just after the production of the mga had ceased. Though often referred to as a roadster, the mgb had roll up windows, outside door handles and vent wings. A mark ii version was added in 1967, and the car stayed in production until 1980, becoming one of the most successful british sports cars of all time, with a total of over 300,000 cars being exported to the u. The white paint shows well and has a high shine to it. The black vinyl interior is in immaculate shape. The b received a brand new top as well as brand new carpet, including the trunk area. The owner took pride in owning this car and pampered it at all times. The mg comes with various receipts that reflect this. The distributor, coil and lucas coil box were removed and given a petronix flame thrower negative ground system with new plugs and wires. The car has always received its normal maintenance such as oil changes and brake work. The car was also given a brand new wiring system. The mgb comes with a full tonneau cover, car cover and spare tire.

The purity of driving a 2-seat british roadster is an addictive experience. Mg couldn't produce enough of these to keep up with demand. Though often referred to as a roadster, the mgb had roll up windows, outside door handles and vent wings. A mark ii version was added in 1967, and the car stayed in production until 1980, becoming one of the most successful british sports cars of all time, with a total of over 300,000 cars being exported to the u. This car has had the pleasure of living in the sunny dry climate of texas where it has spent almost its entire life, giving the metal plenty of time to soak up the warm air and not expose itself to the wet and cold northern climates that caused many of these to turn into rust buckets and become junk yard material. It has received a nice engine rebuild a few years back with all new wiring harness, hoses, rebuilt carburetor, new fan housing, tune up and new plugs. Car runs like a sewing machine and retains original paint color and proper tags. Vehicle has nice upgrades such as; full stereo, rear luggage rack, re-wrapped leather steering wheel, reconditioned wheels, full tonneau cover and convertible boot cover and owner’s manuals and shop manuals.
