Seller's comments and description: clean, no rust! Body off restoration professionally completed in feb 2012. Engine rebuilt with less than 1800 miles. Outstanding condition. Looks and runs like new. Garage kept with cover and has never been out in the rain. Wire wheels, extremely clean engine and interior. Body is in great shape, paint has a few nicks, small scratches on windshield (she has been on the road).

Its details were first published on 19 September 1962. Variants include the MGB GT three-door 2 2 coupé (1965–80), the six-cylinder roadster and coupé MGC (1967–69), and the eight-cylinder 2 2 coupé, the MGB GT V8 (1973–76). Replacing the MGA in 1962, production of the MGB and its variants continued until 1980, achieving sales for the MGB, MGC and MGB GT V8 combined a total of 523,836 cars. The MGB bodyshell was reprised in modified form with a limited run of 2,000 MG RV8 roadsters (1993–95). The sales brochure from 1972 describes the MG B as follows: “from any angle, is a classically conceived sports car. And the reason is simple. It is, in essence, the very definition of what a sports car should be. In the always popular British Racing Green that is recognizable for MG’s and remains in great shape, with all of the exterior chrome including the bumpers, and accent pieces, as well as the black vinyl top and removable hardtop. The interior was restored to keep originality intact with just an AM/FM and cassette radio added for convenience. The seats in a like new black vinyl and the dash with fully functioning gauges and instrument panel including speedometer with trip odometer, electric tachometer, oil pressure, water temperature, and fuel gauge. There is also a map reading light, manual choke and MG all the instruments and switches set in a no glare, padded dash. This is one of the finer examples, with documentation and the according to the owner actual miles, going back to the original title application and service records, of an MG B that has held together so well since the restoration and would be a treat to drive for miles and miles to come. The classic mgb's continued the stronghold that mg had over the market of small roadsters than began post world war ii. With great styling and handling (featuring a better suspension than mga's) the mgb continued to gain popularity in the united states. 1975 marked the 50th anniversary for mg. Gr auto gallery is pleased to present this nice driver quality mgb roadster and in very nice mechanical condition and lots of eye appeal. The early 70's mg's have the great looks of the nice chrome trim and bumpers before the safety mandates and emission laws took a lot of the fun out of them. The market is always strong for these fun and sporty convertibles and they carry a large following among the car enthusiasts. This car runs and drives very nicely and comes with a complete interior with proper badging and very stock. The car is not a show winner, however with some time and some money could be brought back to its glory in no time. Factory correct wheels, top, interior, bumpers, gauges, steering wheel and much more is retained in this vintage cruiser.
