Netoptions:description:i'm listing my 1997 lamborghini diablo vt roadster for sale. I purchased this car for thanksgiving 2015 and have put around 1000 miles on the car since i owned it. The odometer is in km and reads approx 30500km or about 19000 miles. The car had previous damage on the left side door area, this happened in 1999 when the car had 5000 miles and was issued a salvage title. However when i bought the car i was given title with no branding and i have a clean illinois title to my name. Pictures were taken this summer, on a perfect day with a great camera so the car looks new but in reality it has a normal wear and tear for its age. The roadster is very limited production and its destined to be highly collectible. The roadster is autographed by mario andretti, i was told andretti and dennis rodman both owned the car, but then i heard mario drove it and autographed the car but didn't really own it. Not sure which is the truth but it does have that celebrity history attached to it. Sold as where is with no warranties of any kind.

Netoptions:description:the diablo vt roadster was introduced in december 1995 and featured an electrically operated carbon fiber. Besides the roof, the roadster's body was altered from the fixed-top vt model in a number of ways. The front bumper was revised, replacing the quad rectangular driving lamps with two rectangular and two round units. The brake cooling ducts were moved inboard of the driving lamps and changed to a straked design, while the rear ducts featured the vertical painted design seen on the se30. The engine lid was changed substantially in order to vent properly when the roof panel was covering it. The roadster also featured revised 17 inch wheels. The air intakes on top/sides were made larger than the coupe diablos. In 1998 the wheels have been updated to 18 inches, and the engine power raised to 530 hp by adding the variable valve timing system. Top speed specification was raised to 335 km/h (208 mph). This particular diablo is in showroom condition having recently been completely detailed including over $50,000 in new paint, new interior, new tires, full service, new sound system, front and rear cameras and interior carbon fiber detailing. This extremely rare and exotic vehicle is an absolute one of a kind!

Clean title, no accidents or paint work, full service history included. Grigio thalasso exterior with full 3m matte clear bra wrap. Every part of the paint is wrapped to protect it. Interior is the rare red/black combo with tasteful carbon accents including: -door pulls, lower center console and rear, and dash surround. Rims are 20" hre 501 wheels, front tires 235 and rears 325. Front tires roughly 75% tread, rears at 40%. Stock wheels included too. Very light tint on side markers and tail lights. Still very visible even during daylight. The fun stuff: ugr stage 3 kit. Stage 3 twin turbo system with modified engine 1000 whp on pump gas (93 octane) 1250 whp on race fuel (vp-c16 117 octane) i believe it has an upgraded trans as well with billet gears. I will be getting a full build sheet from ugr shortly on this car. Minor work but a bargain considering the car/build overall. Motivated to sell, please inquire with questions.

The diablo rosso exterior paint is in good condition with only a couple imperfections and nicks. The interior is tan with red piping that is in excellent condition for its age. Showing 44,300 miles or 71,295 km, it features the original mid-mounted 492hp v12 engine, 5-speed manual transmission, viscous traction “vt” all wheel drive system. In addition, it is equipped with hydraulic front lift system for ramp clearance, an aftermarket exhaust system, factory installed rear wing, alpine premium cd sound system, brembo 4 piston braking system and the 3 piece oz racing ultra-light aluminum wheels. A complete engine out inspection with heads off, including engine valves adjustment, fluids, gaskets and seals and new clutch system was performed less than 800 miles or eight months ago. The owner’s manual, tools, remotes and a car cover are included and shown in the pictures. This vt model features what was to become a lamborghini staple on its' flagship car, all-wheel drive. Introduced in 1993 the all wheel drive system was adapted from the lm002 and allows up to 25% of the car's power to be sent to the front wheels improving handling significantly over the rear drive version. The diablo was produced between 1990 and 2001. During this period, lamborghini introduced several variations of the diablo concept, the first being the diablo vt (visco traction), which featured an all-wheel drive. The lamborghini bosses had wished for a maximum speed of at least 320 kph, and the engineers made this wish come true: with a top speed of 325 kph and an acceleration from 0-100 in 4. 5 seconds the diablo claimed the pole position in the super sports cars segment!
