It does not get any cooler than this!!! A rust free california 1983 jeep cj-7. Jeeps with original floors and panels are getting so hard to find. This one looks to have most of its original paint and it is clean!!! The original inline 6 cylinder runs like a champ and the miles look to be original. I wish i had a better story, but this one is pretty simple. California jeep, it's whole life. Personally, i like this original stuff that is not restored and perfect. We like to find original gems like this and collectors are getting into vehicles that have not been restored as well. This does have a 4 inch lift and newer wheels and tires. Seller's Comments and Description: My 1986 jeep cj7 laredo, it has very low miles, only 77,000 miles on it , engine runs great, the transmission and transfer case were gone thru and new clutch, the jeep drives and shifts great, it has the factory dana 44 rear, it has new bearings, seals and spider gears installed, the front is the dana 30, resealed, new brake rotors, brakes, bearings, new brake lines, 2.5 lift. has new warn winch (never used), tires are 32" bfg all terrian, there is a blemish on the drivers side door decal, by the key lock. the color is factory sebring red,the jeep only has 50 miles on everything

Jeep was an off road machine first and then a fun civilian vehicle. With the addition of the unlimited models a few years ago, it allowed jeep to really go after a much larger market share. Jeep owners are a unique and fun breed, always looking for some fun trail or road to start another adventure. This could be the reason that the aftermarket options for a jeep are endless and no two are the exact same. The jeep cj-7 featured a wheelbase 10 inches longer than that of the cj-5 and lacked its trademark rear curve of the door cutouts. The other main difference between cj-5 and cj-7 was to the chassis which consisted of two parallel longitudinal main c-section rails. To help improve vehicle handling and stability, the rear section of the chassis stepped out to allow the springs and shock absorbers to be mounted closer to the outside of the body. It was introduced in for the 1976 model year, with 379,299 were built during 11 years of production. Gr auto gallery is pleased to present this 1980 jeep cj-7 that is in great condition. Powering this cj-7 is a chevy 350 small block v8 and 3-speed automatic transmission. There has been a 2. 5" lift added with 33" tires. The body and paint are in great shape, with no major work needing to be done. Inside, the floor pans are rhino lined to maintain their strength and stability. According to the owner a new edelbrock carburetor as well as the fuel tank and fuel lines have been updated recently as well. New double diaphragm power brake booster and new double flowmaster exhaust system gives this jeep a distinctive rumble! Also just installed is a new lokar automatic shifter with indicator lights, neutral safety switch, and a detent push button to ensure safe shifting. This cj drives and shifts strong with the 4wd working as it should. Makes every effort to represent each vehicle accurately and with integrity. We also welcome third party inspections when necessary.
